Thanks for telling about the dr. Wheeler remembrance, and about the Savage Chickens…

You are a fine photographer, Noelle, but I am not a fan of the small dimensions on 72 and blip, so is there any place we can see you photos full sized, please?

Hi Curt - nice to have some visit from DC smile

I’ll hassle the 72photos guy about image size (they dont have that many customers so they still listen) else I will look for a place to store the bigger ones. Although I am not sure the images look just as good full size, small hides imperfections smile

Thanks, iphigenie, for your answer.
I admire perfection, of course, but I live among ‘imperfected’ people in a far from perfect world, whom&which;I enjoy to also watch on my screensavers = large dimensions… So come to think of it my request is not to watch the full sized image online, but to be able to download it.

For some years I had a Canon EOS 300, but lost it - of course when I had no money. Now I am starting all over, I feel, because I am trying to learn how to use one of these small modern zoom things that has a strange monitor screen on its’ back! You don’t teach old horses new tricks that easy, do you… wink

Curt,
I take most of my pictures with a little zoomy thing, and i must say with the screen and no viewfinder I take far too many blurry ones. Looking through a viewfinder is far more stable. Still, it takes surprisingly good photos, especially in macro mode.

After my cameras got stolen i bought something cheap off ebay, in the 3-5megapixels range (which is plenty for on screen!)

It took me about 15 months to replace my old film SLR - part of it waiting for insurance money, the rest waiting to make sure I really wanted it and really would use it. When I still wanted the same camera this january I went and bought it. Havent used it all that much compared to the pocket one but I will (especially now that i have more time)

How to get better versions of my photos on 72photos (for now):
1. browse by tags or via the “all photos” option
2. click on one image to go to its page
3. click on the image again to see a version fitted to your screen size, or right click and use your browser’s menu to get to the image direct

I’m looking into uploading them here too
